1. Using Learnacity
Learnacity provides English-learning resources including vocabulary lessons, quizzes, games, worksheets and pronunciation resources. You may use the service for lawful educational and personal purposes.
2. Educational Content
Learnacity content is provided for general educational purposes. While we aim to provide useful and accurate material, we do not guarantee that every definition, example, pronunciation resource or other educational material will always be complete, current or error-free.
3. Acceptable Use
You must not use Learnacity to abuse, disrupt, overload, attack or otherwise interfere with the service or its infrastructure, or to access, collect or extract content through methods that circumvent technical restrictions, usage limits or access controls.
Automated access must not be used to circumvent usage limits, security controls, access restrictions or other technical measures designed to protect the service.
4. YouGlish and YouTube Content
Learnacity may use the YouGlish widget to provide pronunciation examples using video content made available through YouTube. YouGlish uses YouTube API Services.
By using Learnacity features that use YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the applicable YouTube Terms of Service.
YouTube and third-party content remains subject to the rights, terms and policies of its respective owners and providers. Learnacity does not claim ownership of third-party YouTube content.
You may not use Learnacity to download, copy, extract, redistribute or otherwise misuse YouTube or YouGlish content in violation of applicable terms or policies.
5. Third-Party Services
Learnacity may include links, embedded content or functionality provided by third parties. Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies. Learnacity is not responsible for the availability or operation of third-party services.
6. Worksheets and Downloads
Learnacity worksheets are provided for educational use. You may print or use them for your own lawful educational purposes, subject to any rights or restrictions stated with the individual resource.
7. Intellectual Property
Learnacity branding, original application code, original content and other Learnacity materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Learnacity intellectual property to you.
8. Availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of Learnacity at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or uninterrupted.
9. Disclaimer
Learnacity is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability, completeness, accuracy or suitability of the service for a particular purpose.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Learnacity after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
